Skiing and Snowboarding
At Northwood Chateau, we are located at Whitecap Mountains Resort. Our Chateau offers ski in/out access and is near the main lift for the resort. The resort offers ski and snowboarding rentals, lessons, and lift tickets. Call or visit the resort's website for additional information.
Snowmobiling
Within Iron County, we have 308 miles of snowmobile trails to use. The trails are located near our Chateau and easily accessible by sled directly. Please see the link below for a trail map and additional information.
Snowshoeing and Cross-Country Skiing
Iron County has several snowshoeing/cross-country skiing trails available. The Uller trail starts at Weber Lake, within walking distance of Northwood Chateau. After a long hike, enjoy a cozy home and our in-building sauna! Visit the site below for trail maps and information.
Ice Fishing
With Northwood Chateau being directly located on Weber Lake, you have easy access to ice fishing for game fish, panfish and trout!
